Kayla Driscoll is a graduate of Cortiva Boston, where she completed the 750 hour comprehensive massage therapy program before becoming a licensed massage therapist in Massachusetts, a member of the American Massage Therapy Association, and most recently receiving her certification in John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release approach towards healing. She is an enthusiastic bodyworker with the ability to create a beneficial session and massage suited to a client’s specific intentions and needs.
Kayla entered the massage therapy field with the focus of facilitating healing to those suffering from chronic pain or injuries, after learning the basic connections between the mind, the body, and the soul, and the affects it can have on such healing. Her array of focus work includes a collection of modalities and massage styles ranging from stress reduction to sports massage ; using everything from Swedish style, deeper tissue massage and stretching in order to work with the client towards pain relief and management.
When not massaging clients at Skin To Soul, Kayla spends most of her time playing with and practicing Myofascial Release techniques on her adorably wrinkled Shar-pei puppy, Knoxville, who provides her with plenty of skin and fascia to palpate.
