Luis Ortiz, NCLMT, is a graduate of Cortiva Institute Boston-a nationally accredited school; he has completed a rigorous 750-hour Professional Massage Therapy program and specializes in deep-tissue massage, Swedish relaxation massage, myofascial release, and hot stone therapy massage. Luis has recently passed the National Certification for Massage Therapy. He is also qualified in a variety of other modalities such as Trigger Point Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, Sports massage, and chair massage. He is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Luis is a trained professional with extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology and body mechanics. His mastery of various massage techniques delivers a massage experience that is specific to a client’s needs. He enjoys the therapeutic aspect of massage therapy and attempts to address both hidden and apparent problems, that might be causing a client’s pain, discomfort or stress.

Luis also started taking the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release technique in 2012 to further his knowledge of the body and help people with chronic pain and joint dysfunction. Luis is currently certified in MFR1, Cervical- Thoracic and Fascial Pelvis.
